Do you want to put your creativity to use solving society’s challenges? Should STEM and the arts be accessible to everyone according to you? And do you like designing a solution and perhaps even making it come to life?

Then LE(J)ON’s brand new Creator’s Track may just be the thing for you next semester! Over the course of 6 evenings, you’ll come up with a solution to a challenge and have a chance to bring it to life in the High Tech Lab at maakleerplek!

What can I expect?

You’ll get to take part in the Brainstorm Evening, where you’ll come up with solutions for some of society’s challenges. We’ll provide food and drinks so that you can focus on working together with other participants and letting your creativity flow.

During the next 4 sessions, our coaches will guide you in developing your idea into a real-life solution. You’ll get a chance to experiment with the lasercutter, 3D-printers and perhaps even an arduino to make this happen. Don’t have any experience with these techniques? No worries! The High Tech Lab staff and your co-creators are there to help you. Apart from coaching, we’ll also provide you with short workshops on the different techniques as well as some useful skills, such as prototyping and business models.

At the end of the track, you’ll then get a chance to pitch your solution for the whole group. We’ll also enjoy some drinks and appetizers to celebrate our journey together. Afterwards, you’ll get to put your solution on display until Christmas.

You can either register for the Brainstorm Evening alone or for the complete track. If there are still free spots after this first evening, there will be a possibility to still join the complete track.
